The Child Sponsorship Project is the combined activity of Finnish sponsors and Sri Lanka’s lions

Lions in Finland and Sri Lanka have worked together since 1986 helping impoverished children with their education.  During these past years over 1 780 children have gotten their own Finnish sponsors.

The sponsors are lions clubs, lions clubs’ ladies as well as individual lions and their spouses. There are also many people outside the Lions organization like families and work groups.  New children join the project every day; therefore new sponsors are constantly needed.

The contact persons for the Child Sponsorship project are on their annual inspection trip in Sri Lanka during 7th January – 10th March 2011. During this time you can contact us via text message and/or e-mail.  We are unable to answer phone calls.
