DISTRICT 107 - L FINLAND
District 107-L is the northenmost and the largest district in Finland. Our area covers hole Lapland and also Kuivaniemi, Kuusamo, Pudasjärvi and Taivalkoski areas from Oulu county. The distance between the nortenmost club, LC Enontekiö and the southernmost, LC Taivalkoski is 522 km and it takes about 6 hours by car. In southern Finland all other districts, 13, can be reached in the same time and distance.
We have 49 clubs in 3 regions and 9 Zones, Members are all together about 1325. The smallest club has under 20 members and the biggest club has over 40 members. There is 7 clubs only for women. The oldest club, LC Rovaniemi was founded 1.4.1954 and the youngest LC Rovaniemi/Uitto was founded 26.2.2006 and the latest 13.4.2010 Club Branch LC Posio/Livo.
